Who we are
AN ISTANBUL PRACTICEFOR BRAND OWNERS.
Casework IP was founded in Istanbul in 2026 to act for brand owners whose products are copied in Türkiye, whether the fakes are made here, sold here or pass through on the way to Europe.
We watch customs, the markets and the marketplaces, collect the evidence ourselves, and take each case to customs, the prosecutor or the IP court. Each month you receive a report of what we did, what it cost and what happened.
What we do
ENFORCEMENT,INVESTIGATION,REGISTRATION.
We enforce at customs, in the markets, online and in court. Investigations find the workshop or importer behind a seller, and trademark registration gives customs and the courts a right they can act on.
- 01Customs enforcementWe file and renew your customs application for action, train officers at the main ports and border gates, and act within the statutory deadline when a shipment is held.
- 02Market enforcementWe survey the markets where counterfeits are sold, make test purchases with receipts and file criminal complaints with the public prosecutor.
- 03Online brand protectionWe monitor the Turkish marketplaces and social networks, have counterfeit listings removed and identify the sellers behind accounts that come back.
- 04InvestigationsWe trace counterfeit goods back to the workshop, wholesaler or importer behind them and document the source in a file a prosecutor can act on.
- 05LitigationWe bring criminal complaints and civil actions under the Industrial Property Code and follow them through the appeal courts.
- 06Trademark registration and portfolioWe file and maintain the Turkish registrations that customs, the prosecutor and the marketplaces require before they will act.

We work in Türkiye and nowhere else, in all 81 provinces, and we know the ports, the wholesale districts and the resort markets from visiting them.

A care label sewn in the wrong place is evidence. We learn your product before we go looking for copies of it.

Each month we send you a report listing what we did, what it cost and what happened, written so you can forward it to your finance team without editing.

Quick to attend
We are based in Istanbul and have people in the field in other regions, so we can attend a customs examination in Mersin or a market in Antalya when the deadline requires it.
